Quick Shaving Tip!
If you are ever out of shaving cream and would like to moisturize your legs at the same time, use any hair conditioner! It makes your legs extra smooth and gives them some added moisture!!

Cable Trouble!
Hey guys! So I promised a blog everyday so here we go...I have never had cable my entire life living at my parents home. So basically I had settle for the rabbit ears and maybe five channels (depending on the weather lol). I mean once or twice while I was living at home we had satellite for maybe a few months but that's about it. So I am in my own apartment now and I have gotten accustom to my five channels. The problem is that some of these channels now are not working (that darn digital switch!) Not just any channels though, important channels, basic channels like 2,4,7,20 & 50! All missing now!! Since most of the shows I love to watch are on channel 50 this was a huge bother to me.
As many of you might not know, Canadians don't have access to everything on every website as American's do. A lot of sites will let you on, but if you try to watch a video it says something like "This video in not available in your area". Basically it looks for your computer I.P. Address and if it isn't American, your not watching it!
So, determined to watch these shows and dare to be Canadian at the same time, I found a bunch of websites that are Canada friendly. First we have www.ctv.ca for Gossip Girl, America's Next Top Model, Big Bang Theory and any other shows on the CW. I also found that I can also watch many of my MTV shows like Jersey Shore and Teen Mom on www.mtv.ca which was a huge relief! You can find so many other shows on www.globaltv.com like House, Hellcats and 90210! Not to mention you can find almost any movie on demand on www.letmewatchthis.com. The internet is somethingI definitely rely on from day to day. I Honestly dunno know how we ever survived without it.
Back to my main point. My tv's are becoming obsolete! I'm neglecting them and I'm starting to feel like they have no purpose other than being a big fashion faux pas in the room! So I finally decided to get cable! Yey!! I know, I know, you're probably thinking..."Why spend money on cable when you just said yourself you can watch everything online". Well the truth is, having tv is kind of like having the radio. Even though you have tons of songs on your Ipod, sometimes you just like the randomness of the radio. Also, despite all the awesome shows you can watch online, There are still ton of shows on Bravo etc...that I am unable to watch.
So I set up the time for my cable to arrive which was Monday October 4th. It was perfect because I have Monday's off. They were kind enough to inform me that they will be showing up between 9am and 5pm...I'm like "Thanks?". Anywho, I was anxiously awaiting the arrival and most ppl are telling me "ohhh they won't be there till late". Since I like to sleep in, I knew otherwise. They decided to show up at 10am. I heard no knocking but I received a phone call informing me that they showed up and I didn't answer the door... So I called them back wondering what the heck was going on because I never received a knock at my door. We figured out that since my apartment is behind a house (Even though it has it's own address) They went to the wrong house!!! Now I am being penalized because the cable ppl don't like to listen!!
So in conclusion, it wouldn't be that big of a deal BUT I was planning to take a trip from Saturday to Monday to visit my bf at his school which is an hour and a half away. I didn't go because I had to wait for the cable guy. :(

Every Day Blog & Slouch Boots
Hey everyone! Since it is physically impossible for me to do a YouTube video on my channel everyday because I have work etc etc.. I will start posting blogs here once a day! I am hoping to do at least one YouTube video a week and a blog a day. Of course I am on Twitter 24/7 too! I can't promise anything but that is my plan :)
Moving on to the second topic of the day...Slouch boots.
I will admit, I have a weird obsession with shoes. When I say obsession, I don't mean I just love shoes and always am buying shoes but it is one the things I am pickiest about. You can really judge a person by their shoes! One of the hardest things I am on the search for are a pair of flat black leather slouch boots. My problem is either the toe is too pointy or there is a heel or the foot of it is too skinny I just don't know what to do!!
This has been going on since last year when they really started getting popular. I have been searching and searching but nothing! I did find a pair once at Macy's but I never picked them up! I should have because I am kicking myself now!!

New Collections Mac Haul
Hey everyone! I have been putting up too many mini Mac hauls on my YouTube Channel and most of the time i don't think they really warrant a whole video so I decided to just do a Blog Haul! Yey!
So I'll start off with a brush I got. I ordered the 214 short smudger brush online. To be honest I thought it was going to be smaller and a bit more stiff. I want to use it with a soft pencil liner to smudge. I haven't used it yet so no concrete review here just sayin...If you know of a smaller stiffer smudge brush please let me know!
So the next thing I got was from their new Pro Longwear Lipcreme Lipstick Collection. I was really hoping for a really baby pink but there wasn't one :(. I came across the color in Overtime and it was a really nice natural pink so I thought I'd try it out! It is similar to the Satin lipsticks in the flatness of the color. I haven't really tried it out too much but I am excited to! From the swatch on my arm it is harder to rub off than the satin lipsticks. The packaging of this lipstick is even different it is in a long cylinder slimmer tube and is way more matte than their other lipsticks.
Now the fun stuff! The new Disney Villian collection. It looked so fun I just knew I had to have something from it!! I am a huge fan of nude colors. I just wear them more often and they go with almost everything. I got the Cruella De Vil cremesheen in Innocence, Beware! It is really pretty and compared to Myth obviously the first difference is that it is a Satin and Innocence, Beware! is a cremesheen. Besides the obvious difference I feel if you like Myth, you would lie Innocence, Beware! It has more of a pink tone but it's still really nude and might be one of my favs! It is really pretty and the packaging is fun with Cruella's picture and it is shinier than the average Mac Lipstick!
Last but not least is the Lipglass is Devishly Stylish. I really love this color! It is a really nice sparkly pink and would look awesome on top of Innocence, Beware! The packaging is like the average lipglass but with Cruella's picture with a couple of the dalmation puppies!

Hair Extension Criticism
Ok, where do I start... I have not been criticized very much about this topic (to my face anyways) especially because it is becoming the norm in today's world. But I have noticed that a lot of people have a hard time accepting what they don't understand.
Here are a couple questions I have been asked that I would just like to clear up for all the people who are confused and weirded out about the whole hair extension concept.
1. Why do you wear those "things"?
Answer: I wear them because I feel more confident wearing them. It actually takes me less time to put my hair extensions in my hair than it would be to style my own natural hair.
2. Why don't you just wear your hair short? It's so cute!
Answer: Because my hair is so fine and short, it takes a lot of product, styling and back combing to get my hair to look like I want it to. Therefore, it takes more time to style it. Believe it or not, I don't like to spend much time on my hair in the morning so it is an easy alternative to wear extensions.
3.Why do you want to wear something fake? Doesn't it weird you out?
Answer: Nope it doesn't weird me out. I think of it as a beauty staple. Basically like mascara, eyeliner, lip gloss and foundation. These things all enhance our beauty and are not natural but they make us feel better about ourselves. I feel the same way with extensions! If something is going to make you feel more confident and it's not hurting anybody then go for it!
4.What do guys say when they find out that you wear extensions?
Answer: Ok, where do I start with this one? I have never really had a guy say anything to me about extensions. Most people don't even know I wear extensions and think that I just have long hair. My boyfriend just thinks of it as another girly thing I do and accepts it as a part of my life. Most guys don't understand it and they probably never will. In reality, do guys really understand anything about why we do the things we do? Anywho, back to my point. I don't care what guys or girls think about me wearing extensions. The only thing that matters is that I enjoy them and they make me happy :).
5. Why wear extensions, why don't you just grow out your natural hair?
Answer: I get this question a lot. Most of you who follow my YouTube Channel know that I have thin, fine hair and it is a total frustration to grow! It get's damaged really easily because of how fine it is. I am constantly trimming my hair so it grows out healthily without split ends and breakage. If I just let it go, I would eventually need to chop a lot of breakage off at once and it would be counter productive! I am currently taking extra care of my hair and it has shown to help and it is growing out which I am grateful for! This is something I think a lot of women don't understand because most women have medium to thick hair that grows easily! So when you think your hair is way too thick, just get some layers to thin it out and be grateful! For girls like me, it's really hard just thicken up my hair unless your have extensions!
So those are the most common questions I get asked. I am sorry if you have a problem with it or you think I am fake because of it. My feeling is that if I am fake for wearing hair extensions than every girl who wears makeup in this world is fake too. Makeup is just more accepted.

Grow Your Nails!
Keratin - a protein which comes in a variety of forms, all of which are waterproof and durable. It is the principle component of horn, beaks, skin, hair, finger nails feathers and hooves among others.
While I am almost positive most of you were not blessed with hooves and/or feathers, beaks and horns *YIKES!* I am pretty sure most of the human race has hair, finger nails and skin!
For some unknown reason, my keratin is not very strong in my hair thus, it is not strong in my nails either...: (
I basically accepted the fact that my nails would just not grow! I was never much of a nail fanatic anyways (You all know my thing is hair) but I've always secretly admired women with nails on the longer side. It is something (along with hair) that most women take for granted!
So I found this product at the drugstore and figured I should just give it a try! I forget how much it was since I bought it a while ago but I have been using it about once a week and it has prevented my nails from chipping and cracking so now they are growing!! I see the white!! Get it...instead of "I see the light"...Anywho...This product is by L'Oreal and is called Grow Stronger! Nail Treatment.
Now, my nails have always been weak so I can easily bend them in whichever direction. This obviously has been one of the causes of my nail breakage. However, now they are still pliable but noticeably harder!
I didn't follow the directions thoroughly enough, and only have been applying this strengthening treatment once a week under my nail polish. BUT the directions clearly state "To use: Apply 1 or 2 coats to clean,dry bare nails. Apply 1 coat daily for 10 days. After 10 days remove Grow Stronger! and use regularly on your bare nails as a base coat for continued strength." So I have decided to start this Today!!! I'll let you know what I think after 10 days. So that'll be it for now!
